The three travel together to the Northern Tribe to teach him how to bend water. The two were preparing Aang for battle with the Fire Nation. During that time, he is pursued by several enemies who want to kill him. On one occasion, the princess of the Northern Tribe, Yue, chooses to die to revive her tribe. Subsequently, Aang drives away the enemy fleet.

Similarly, the contests feature uniqueness and creativity in the styles and settings used. One aspect of style is seen in the Junken Club during an ambush. Subsequently, it leads to four different fights that take place simultaneously, but in different areas.
One of the characters takes on a staff wielder during the fights in a stairwell. The setting makes it difficult to be successful because the space is small and tight. Interestingly, other characters take their fights to a bathroom, whereby tools become significant obstacles.
Veritas is mainly about street fighting and martial arts. It involves Ma Gangryong, a high school delinquent. Gangryong is defeated by a mysterious drifter (Lightning Tiger) because of poor fighting skills. However, he dedicates his time to learn how to fight better.
