9 Funko Pops from Five Nights at Freddy’s that You’re Missing Out On

You may be surprised to find that one of the most popular video game franchises, Five Nights at Freddy’s, includes a stellar line of Funko Pops. To me, what makes their pops more incredible than some of the other Pop lines is their variety in collection based on the different video games. The FNAF pop line includes Twisted, Nightmare, Jumpscare, Blacklight and even a Jack-O-Lattern type. We have to applaud Funko designers for their ingenuity and creativity with these Pops. For those that might’ve been living under a rock, Five Night’s a Freddy’s is a series of video games based in the setting of Fazbear’s Pizza restaurant. Throughout the series, there are animatronic characters that come alive at night and become homicidal. The goal of the player is to survive five nights at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza while avoiding being caught and stuffed into a mascot costume. And then being killed by the Animatronic characters. The game is a point and click POV which makes users feel as if they are in some sort of horror film.

Just be warned, some of these Funko Pops are quite graphic! But I’m sure if you’re a fan of FNAF, you’ll love these. Here’s out picks for 9 of the best Five Night at Freddy’s pop vinyls.

#9. Blacklight Bonnie

Bonnie is by far one of the most psychopath killers, you’ll find. He is a prevalant and one of the main antagonists of the game. Bonnie plays the role of child entertainer at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Depending on which version of the game you have, he typically hides in the corner, backstage, hallway, or closet. From there, he’ll jump at you gnawing his teeth waiting to eat you alive! What a frightening animatronic for sure! As a character, Bonnie is a purple bunny with magneta eyes and double ears who wears a red bow tie and sometimes carries a red electric guitar. This Blacklight Funko Pop works similar to a glow in the dark pop, where when you turn off the lights, they glow with a bright neon color. Fun fact about the boxes is that, they seem to be reflect brightly in the night as well.

#8. Jumpscare Funtime Foxy

Funtime Foxy appears in the Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location video game as one of the seven animatronics. This version of Foxy gives him a circus themed personality where he entertains at the Funtime Auditorium. We love how the Funko Pop captures the overall animation that is displayed in the game. The reason for it’s title “jumpscare” is because Funtime Foxy is a character that typically jumps at you. During gameplay, where your character checks into the Funtime Auditorium, Funtime Foxy will jump up and shock you twice. When doing so, his scary mechanical face will open up similar to how the Funko Pop shows. Throughout your night’s stay such as Night 3, 4 and 5, he will appear.

Here’s a description from the Custom Night in Sister Location. “Funtime Foxy will gradually emerge from his curtain, then charge to your room. Check on him frequently to slow his progress.”

Foxy’s face is split into five parts which are capable of opening up. Fox has a large speaking in the middle of his chest designed to scare people.

#7. Twisted Wolf

The Twisted Wolf comes from the second novel called Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Twisted One which is also the highly anticipated sequel to the bestselling novel, The Silver Eyes. In the novel, this was Charlie’s first encounter with the Twisted Wolf.

“And then she saw it, a distorted figure stood at the very edge of the trees. The creature turned and walked towards it, revealing a shiny muzzle, one front paw hung and the other raised up. He stared at Charlie, and she looked into his eyes – piercingly blue and shing. Once he was an agile and well groomed pet with silver hair, and a moment later a worn metal framework, partly covered with a rubbery, transparent skin, with eyes of white bulbs.”

If you look at this Funko Pop, you will notice that he kind of looks like a wolf, but also party possessed as a robot. Twisted Wolf seems to have two sides which is a real wolf and then also the robotic side. It seems that his true identity is the animatronic robot, while the real wolf is the illusion to deceive a person. Twisted Wolf almost had the chance to kill Charlie, Clay, John and Charlotte. However, Foxy swooped in and killed the wolf by digging a hook into his chest.

#6. Cupcake Phantom

Phantom Cupcake is a minor character that appears in the third game and is still quite a mystery. It will appear in 6,2,4,8 and will disappear randomly. However, if you find every cupcake and click on them, you’ll be granted secret access to Chica’s Party minigame, but only works on Night 3. Imagine seeing a floating cupcake screaming and chasing you. It’s quite horrifying. We only wish that Funko had made a full black Cupcake similar to the game.

#5. Withered Bonnie

The idea of Withered Bonnie is that he’s an older pre-built model of Bonnie. This version appears in the second game, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. He falls into despair and hides away due to the fact that he is replaced by newer versions of Bonnie. As Freddy puts it, he’s still a giant blue rabbit except this Withered Bonnie is missing his face. His appearance shows that many of his parts are missing. Bonnie’s eyes have been pulled out, exposing glowing red irises. His left arm is obviosuly missing, but oddly he has more teeth than the original Bonnie. This version of Withered Bonnie is much more dangerous than the one that appeared in the first game. Withered Bonnie can leave the service room at 12 am and sneak into the office 3 times an hour! Typically he appears by lowering the monitor and jumping you at the office. The only chance for survival if he jumps you is to put on the Freddy Fazbear Head quickly.

#4. Dark Springtrap

Dark Springtrap is quite the deadly version of Springtrap that posseses a far greater power than Dark Sonic. He has large white eyes with black and red pupils. Blood leaks from his mouth, eyeballs and across his body. Half of his tail is sliced off and there are rips across his body. This version of Springtrap is fueled by immense anger and looks to take out his revenge on you. Dark Springtrap has four abilities including Chaos Blast, Spear, Dark Asylum and Time Freeze. Chaos Blast is a power blast that deals 300 damage. The spear attack is when he tackles a person to the ground similar to the WWE style spear. Dark Asylum is incredibly powerful because there’s no way to dodge it. He turns himself completely black and summons Asylum meteors to attack you. His last and most powerful ability is Time Freeze, where he stops time, so you can’t dodge either. He then randomly attacks you with random moves in his arsenal. Funko did an excellent job with the overall artistic design of his character.

#3. Lefty

Lefty is one of the four animatronics that can be salvageable. In the game, players have the ability to salvage certain animatronics to gain a base profit at their risk. Basically they will keep an animatronic alive for the chance to gain money. Or they can choose to throw them away and have one less threat during their five nights of stay at Freddy’s. He can also be purchased at an auction for only $5. Depending on the version of game you play, he typically hides in the alley, supply closet or left hall. We love this Funko version of Lefty. As an entertainer, he’s got a 9/10 rating.

#2. Nightmare Freddy Glow in the Dark

The nightmare version of Freddy is much more frightening than most other versions of Freddy. In the Freddy Flies book, it reads, “he’s still the brown bear we’ve come to know and fear, just a lot more tattered and torn than ever before, and with a monsterous jaw to boot. There are also three miniatures animatronics alled Freddles attached to this body.”

Nightmare Freddy is completed tattered and has mini Freddies that can come out of his body called Freddles. This is a cold hearted, evil and murderous version of Freddy whom is fueld by hatred. He’s a character that hides under your bed and waits to abruptly attack when you walk in. We love how this Funko Pop glows in the dark. Personally, I believe this would make a great night light for your bedroom. Just be glad it’s not a real Nightmare Freddy!

#1. Twisted Chica

Twisted Chica belongs in some crazy horror film, because this has got to be one of the scariest chickens ever. She has a second mouth located on her chest which is incredibly large!Chica also has another set of mouth hanging on her face. There also seems to be a wild cupcake hanging on her chest as well. I mean, how can you feed three hungry mouths looking to eat living flesh? If you’re into scary movies, you’ll love this one!

Final Thoughts:

If you haven’t noticed, there is a common theme with many of the pops and the game itself. Many of the characters are deformed and look beaten down. But the fact that they’re alive and looking to kill makes them all the more scarier. The most popular collection of these by far is the Blacklight editions. You can get the Blacklight FNAF pops at GameStop, Entertainment Earth, Pop in a Box or Amazon. Funko is releasing new figurine toys based on FNAF’s new PizzaPlex game. So we’re hoping they design them for pop vinyls too! FNAF has been such a staple horror video game the last 6 years and it’s definitely a must have for any video gamer out there.
