The anime series Demon Slayer is back with a bang. It was very popular back in 2019 as a 26 episode action-packed series. It was released as a movie in 2020. The movie was titled. “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train.” The story of Demon Slayer was sourced from a highly popular Manga of the same name by Koyohoru Gotouge. However, the story revolved around a young man’s quest to save his sister from demons amidst a war between humans and demons.
The film that followed as the continuation of the series of Demon Slayer became very popular. When is Demon Slayer season 2 expected to be released?
Demon Slayer’s Entertainment District arc season 2 will premiere on Crunchyroll on December 5. However, the best surprise for the audience is that there will be new episodes starting in October 2021 that will continue from the arc of the Mugen Train.
These are additional 7 episodes that are re-edited from the Arc of Mugen train movie. It will have additional scenes. According to Polygon, there would be an episode that will showcase the storyline preceding Mugen Train. People who love Kyoguru Rengoku scenes might be dying to watch it.
Let’s look at the brief plot of Demon Slayer.
The story is set in a small town of Taisho-era Japan. Tanjirou Kamado, a teen when returning home, finds demons have slaughtered his entire family. His sister, Nezuko, turns into a bloodthirsty demon herself. Tanjirou then vows to become a demon slayer and kill his sister.
He receives very hard training from Sakonji Urokodaki. After doing well, Tanjirou qualifies to join the Demon Slayer Corps. He also met other demon slayers that became his companions: cowardly but skilled Zenitsu Agatsuma and the strong and fiery Inosuke Hashibira; a family of boars raises him.
The revelation, however, reaches the center stage when Tanjirou discovers the true identity of his arch-enemy. This mastermind killed his parents: Muzan Kibutsuji, the first Demon King, the father of all demons.
Soon Tanjirou becomes part of Hahiro, who are elite fighters and demon slayers of the corps. They fight the Twelve Kizuki (blood moons), an organization that is under Kizuki’s command.
